Getting to know your prospects

If you're really serious about your copywriting you should pick up the phone and talk to some prospects.

I explain in detail how to do this in my free audio "how to find a hungry market online".

At the very least engage your prospects in an email conversation or visit the forums they go to.

Create a profile of your prospects.

What age are they?

What kind of language or industry jargon do they speak?

What is it they worry about - what eats at them and keeps them up at night?

What is it they want the most in the world and what would they pay to get it?

What gets to them emotionally?

Who has influence over them?

Who are they listening to - experts in their industry, media figures, spouse?

If you know your prospects intimately it becomes very easy to write copy that will get them to buy.
